Ecological and Non-Toxic Properties of Magnesium Oxide Boards

Eco-Friendly: Non-asbestos, non-VOC, zero formaldehyde, no radioactivity, no organic volatiles, no heavy metals

Asbestos-free: Magnesium oxide boards do not contain any asbestos substances, including iron asbestos, blue asbestos, tremolite, amphibolite, chrysotile asbestos, and others, ensuring that they do not release harmful fibers during use, making them safe for human health and the environment.

Zero formaldehyde: According to ASTM D6007-14 test standards, the formaldehyde test result for magnesium oxide boards is zero. They meet the new national standards' three grades: E1 grade (≤0.124mg/m³); E0 grade (≤0.050mg/m³); and the 'aldehyde-free grade' in ENF grade (≤0.025mg/m³), ensuring safety in indoor environments.

No organic volatiles: According to ASTM D5116-10 standards, magnesium oxide boards do not contain 38 kinds of inorganic volatiles, including benzene, isopropyl alcohol, and TVOC, ensuring they do not release harmful gases during use.

Radioactivity: The limit of radionuclides in magnesium oxide boards conforms to the specified limit of GB 6566; the internal and external exposure index is zero, meeting the requirements of Class A decorative materials in the GB 6566-2010 standard. This ensures their safety and unrestricted production and use.

No heavy metals: Magnesium oxide boards do not contain any heavy metals, such as lead, chromium, arsenic, mercury, antimony, selenium, and barium, avoiding potential harm to human health and the environment.

Antibacterial rate: According to GB/T 21866-2008 standards, the antibacterial rate of magnesium oxide boards is greater than 99.99%, ensuring good antibacterial performance during use and providing a healthy living and working environment.

By incorporating these eco-friendly and non-toxic properties, magnesium oxide boards offer a safe, sustainable, and health-conscious solution for modern construction needs, contributing to improved indoor air quality and environmental protection.
