Due to the density of MgO boards being around 1.1 to 1.2 tons per cubic meter, to achieve maximum space utilization when loading containers, we often need to alternate between stacking the boards horizontally and vertically. Here, we want to discuss vertical stacking, especially for MgO boards with a thickness of less than 8mm. It is crucial to ensure that the MgO boards are firmly fixed during vertical stacking to prevent any looseness. Any movement during transport can cause gaps between the boards, leading to uneven stress distribution and potential deformation.
How do we securely fasten vertically stacked MgO boards?
As shown in the image, we use custom-made woven straps and specially designed metal fasteners to secure the boards tightly with buckles. This method ensures that the MgO boards are firmly fixed, guaranteeing the maximum utilization of container space and preventing any damage during transit.
